Holton/Smallridge Win Yamaha Par-3 Shootout

The team of Fred Holton and Ricky Smallridge carded a 7-under par round of 47 in the 2-man best ball format on the Short Course at RTJ @ Oxmoor Valley to win the Yamaha Par-3 Shootout by one shot. The round was highlighted by a Hole-In-One from Fred Holton on #9 from a distance of 110 yards. The Hole-In--One proved to be the deciding shot in their one stroke victory.

Mike Genovese & J.J. Dunn fired a 7-under par round of 65 for a two day total of 130 to hold off John Carney & Mike Giammaresi and Steven DeBoer & Adam Scott by one shot to capture the DPGA Team Championship, sponsored by Cutter & Buck and the PGA Tour at Lakewood GC.

Rea Schuessler Wins DPGA / PGA Tour Stroke Play - Club Car #5

Rea Schuessler fired a 3-under par round of 67 to capture the PGA Tour / Dixie Section PGA Stroke Play at Montgomery CC. Schuessler closed with a 34 on his final nine holes to seal a one shot victory over Jerry Applegate and Blanton Tessin, who both fired a 2-under par rounds of 68.
